The Rhythm Section
Kyle got his first banjo at the age of 11. Not long after he picked up guitar and began taking lessons for both instruments. After a while Kyle decided to continue learning the instruments on his own when lessons proved inaffective. Before long Kyle met best friend Dakoda Hensley and in 2007 the duo started a band called New Fire where Kyle continued to play until he turned 18 when he enlisted in the Army. After he completed Basic Training he was sent to Iraq where he fought in Desert Storm. After a year overseas, Kyle returned home where he reunited with best friend Dakoda and continued to play with New Fire. Due to the demand of pesky day jobs the rest of the member of New Fire quit the band which caused the band to disband. Shortly after Kyle and Dakoda as well as friend Will Clark joined band Wilson Banjo Co.. where Kyle was one of the lead and harmony vocalists as well as guitarist. After Kyle, Dakoda, and Will all left Wilson Banjo Co. Kyle was offered a job with Dave Adkins where he was the guitarist for a year. After the birth of Kyles daughter he decided to stay closer to home so he and best friends Will Clark, Dakoda Hensley, and Allen Clayton formed the band Rhythm Section. The band is currently known locally as Will Clark & Rhythm Section and is actively touring.
Kyle is a great asset to the band and has some of the most power rhythm guitar playing currently in the bluegrass music industry. We thank him for his service to our great country.

From the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Clint Coker is a Georgia man beaming with talent. Growing up listening to family friend and mentor Rusty Gragg, Clint quickly developed a love for bluegrass. At the age of 10, he began expressing a serious interest in playing music. His parents bought him his first guitar and encouraged him to take professional lessons. After learning all he could from his beginner instructor, Clint went on to study under the bluegrass master, Jake Stargel. With a wide interest in many genres of music, bluegrass holds a special place in this man's heart. Although he has developed his own style of playing over time, many artists have certainly had an influence on his sound. From the great Tony Rice and Bryan Sutton to David Grier and Russ Barenberg, Clint enjoys listening to anything fast and bluegrass. Whether he's playing on the big stage or pickin' with friends back home, any time spent playing music is a good time for Clint!
We are so excited to have Clint as the newest member of Rhythm Section on lead guitar. Great things are in store for this guy!
